I know it’s not a perfect film (very few are), but it is a project I’m proud of. I think that people will leave the
theater discussing some of the topics that are raised by the film.

In Vanity Fair’s February 2011 issue, two of the luxe magazine’s writers, Richard Rushfield and Adam Leff, “shed light on reality TV’s trashy stereotypes” in their piece: Intelligence Report: Ethno-spolitation Groups.

Is Maz Jobrani browner and friendlier? Apparently so: ”Feels like just yesterday I was Brown and Friendly. Now, I’ve got more tour dates and suddenly I’m Browner and Friendlier.” Quips the hilariously funny Jobrani. So how exactly did he get “browner”? “Hung out with some black friends,” he says. “It rubbed off on me.”
