London-based organization, UKIFF will be showcasing more than thirty movies made by or about Iran/Iranians, during its inaugural cinema appreciation festival beginning this week.

The majority of the films have been made in the last few years, making it quite likely that you will run into at least a film or two that you have not yet seen.

And with a selection of movies that deserve the spotlight, this art event is one you don’t want to miss.

Click here to watch a clip from festival participant and Director, Ala Mohseni’s short and fun documentary, My City Pizza, about “eating habits in modern Tehran [which] offers a kaleidoscopic view of Iranian society: Iranians from all walks of life divulge their identities via their standpoints regarding the pizza.”
