Born in Shiraz, Iran, Amir Nojan is a Classical Persian music artist. Known for his comprehensive knowledge of “Radif” (Persian Classical Repertoire), Nojan has studied with some of the most influential modern masters of traditional Persian music including Mohammad Reza Lotfi, Dariush Tala’i and Jalal Zolfonoun.

Nojan has performed a multitude of concerts around the world as a composer, soloist, improviser, and ensemble player.

Amir Nojan’s most notable collaborations have been with famed artists such as Alim Qasimov, Shahram Nazeri, Alireza Ghorbani, Mohsen Namjoo, and Mojgan Shajarian.

In 2012 Nojan founded the first professional academy for the teaching of Persian music and arts named “Shiraz Arts Academy”, in Northern California (San Jose) where he currently resides.
