Inspired in Name: Gucci Shoes Get Persian Monicker?
Some say Persian women are the best dressed, most fashionable females around the world…And we totally agree!
So is it safe to assume that Gucci’s latest must-have heels were inspired by Iranian women?
Perhaps.
See, the luxury brand has given its gorgeous 4.1″ high heel sandal with strass embroidery (pictured above) a Persian name: Soraya.
Soraya is of Persian origin and means, “princess”. (It’s also a variant of “Sara”.)
We love the new addition to the collection regardless of the Persian factor…But we must admit, with a price tag of $1,100.00, we’re slightly hesitant to make the purchase right away.
