Southern Exposure, a 36-year-old non-profit visual arts organization located in the Mission District of San Francisco, to present Time after Time: Actions and Interactions.

Curated by Taraneh Hemami, the one-day film festival will take place on Saturday, October 23, 2010 at Southern Exposure.

Works featured are new and experimental film and video work by Adel Abidin, Bahar Behbahani, Taha Belal, Wafaa Bilal, Dina Danish, Jeanno Gaussi, Ghazel, Babak Golkar, Ghazaleh Hedayat, Malak Helmy, Vera Kachouh, Bessma Khalaf, Ali Mafakheri, Chloé Mazlo, Moataz Nasr, Leila Pazooki, Zineb Sedira, Nomi Talisman and Dee Hibbert Jones, Katayoun Vaziri and Naomi Safran-Hon, Wafaa Yasin and Akram Zaatari.

Coming from centers of conflict and finding their lives entangled with the realities of the everyday wars of ideas and ideals, these artists use diverse strategies to explore their continuous state of flux.

This one-day art event serves as a forum for research and exchange, offering personal and collective explorations into contradicting and contested realities while investigating ways to shift prevailing perceptions.
